The Government of Mexico City, through the Institute of Science and Technology and along with the Mexican Academy of Sciences, the Scientific and Technologic Consultative Forum, major research institutions and distinguished national and international entrepreneurs, invites you to participate in the Science and Innovation Week 2010 (SIW 2010) that will be held from November 22nd to the 26th. This event will take place again at the Palacio de Minería, a stunning building of Mexican neoclassic built in the 18th century, a venue declared patrimony of humanity by UNESCO.
The aims of the SIW 2010 are to give continuity to the SIW 2008 and 2009 to discuss the impact of science, technology and education as essential tools to solve some social problems and build a better city and create the hub for innovative industries promoting the linkage amongst scientists, entrepreneurs and decision makers in order to encourage students to look at the world of science and innovation.
The names of the sessions and topics that will be discussed during the Science and Innovation Week 2010 are: Healthy City, Sustainable City; City with Connectivity and Technology and City Educated in Science and Technology.
The SIW is already a tradition in our City and it will be consolidated as one of the most important international meetings in science, technology and innovation and it will host distinguished personalities of the academic, industry and governmental fields from different parts of the world, including Nobel Laureates and world known entrepreneurs.
